Configuring a proxy in Opera

This guide will tell you how to configure the Opera browser to work through a proxy. You will need to complete just five simple steps.
Opera is a web browser and a package of application programs for working on the Internet, produced by Opera Software. Developed in 1994 by a group of researchers from the Norwegian company Telenor.

1. Launch Opera and click on the "Menu" item on the top panel of the browser. Then select "Settings":

2. In the settings, open the "Browser" and find the “Network” field and click on the “Change proxy server settings” button, which is located below.

3. Go to the “Connections" tab.1

4. Click on the “Network Setup" button.

5. In the settings window that opens, check the boxes as shown in the photo below. In the “Address” and “Port” fields, enter the relevant information for the selected proxy server.

If the proxy works with all protocols or the number and type of supported protocols are unknown to you, then such proxy settings for Opera will be more than enough.
If you have a proxy with login and password authorization, then when you try to go to any site, a login and password entry form will appear.
