Configuring a proxy in Proxifier

In this tutorial, we'll figure out how to add a proxy to Proxifier.

Proxifier is a wonderful program that will allow you to use applications that do not support working through proxy servers and are blocked by a firewall as a result. The program allows you to work with any Internet clients, including web browsers, FTP, SSH, IRC, ICQ, P2P clients, video/audio, etc. through a network separated from the Internet with a firewall.

It does not require any special settings for the client software. Proxifier allows you to force all network connections of the system to work through a proxy server or a chain of proxy servers.

Configuring Proxifier

Launch the program and start configuring it - add a proxy.
In the top menu, open the "Profile" section and select "Proxy Servers..." in it

In the window that opens, click on the "Add" button.

Next, in the "Address" field, enter the IP address of our proxy, in the "Port" field, specify the port from the proxy. Next, select the protocol we need. If you use proxies purchased on proxy6.net , then they have the HTTPS protocol, or SOCKS Version 5.

The "Authentication" section will be needed if your proxies have login and password authorization. The "Enable" checkbox is responsible for enabling login and password authorization at the proxy. If you have checked the box, then below, in the "Username" and "Password" fields, you need to enter the login and password from the proxy.

After filling in all the fields, click the "OK" button.
By clicking on the "Check" button, we can check whether we have configured our proxy server correctly.

Pay attention! If you are adding an IPv6 proxy to Proxifier, then you need to make an additional configuration: proxy6.net/blog/4-proxifier-ipv6-proxy

The Proxifier program window will display all your current activity:
