Setting up - Configuring a proxy in Firefox

This guide will tell you how to configure the Mozilla Firefox browser to work through a proxy. You will need to complete just four simple steps.
Mozilla Firefox is the second most popular browser in the world and the first among free software.

1. Launch Firefox and click on Tools in the Firefox main menu. Then select Settings:

2. Click on the "Advanced" item, then go to the "Network" tab and then on the "Configure" button:

3. In the proxy settings window that appears, select the item "Manual configuration of the proxy service". Specify the proxy server address and port, check the box "Use this proxy server for all protocols". In order not to enter the login and password for the proxy every time (if your proxy is anonymous), check the box next to "Do not request authentication":

4. Click OK, close all previously opened settings windows and go to any site. If you have specified everything correctly, then the requested site will be successfully opened. If your proxy is authenticated, then a login and password entry form will appear beforehand.
